Trapped in a dwindling fishing town, a father and son try to navigate life in a dying culture.

The story follows a father, Reve, and his son Ethan, who are shrimpers in a town called Plaquemines. While Reve is trying to hold on to the fading life of a shrimper, Ethan dreams of a life outside. Their separate dreams push them further and further apart. The film follows them as they deal with their personal struggles and the struggles of living in Plaquemines.
