An insecure novelist is given one week by his publisher to infuse his latest novel with greater feminine insight, but as he turns to his long-suffering girlfriend Heather for inspiration, he discovers that her boss has designs on her and is about to whisk her away to Barbados with a promotion. When a fit of jealous rage prompts Josh to rewrite Heather's work life the way he would like it to be, the results reveal that his gifts as a writer are more powerful than he ever imagined.
