Get yourself ready to embark upon a journey; an 11 minute and 47 second narrative with the potential to influence the way we think about gender and power dynamics. Self Defense was made by a team who prides ourselves on our passion. As first time filmmakers, we had the ambition to make this project into a meaningful cinematic experience. Now we cherish the opportunities to watch audiences enjoy the twists and turns of our film on screen. A year’s worth of blood, sweat, happy tears, sad tears, heartache, and pure joy all to bring you this very film. A year’s worth of work for 11 minutes and 47 seconds.
