Adam, a hopeless romantic, matches with Lucy, the girl of his dreams, whose only dating stipulation is that he must be willing to lie about how they met. Lucy comes up with a fake story, and in the name of love, Adam tells it to everyone he knows. Until one day the cops show up at his door. They’re investigating a murder, the details of which match the story Adam has been telling, and Lucy is nowhere to be found.
