SHORT NARRATIVE
For his annual holidays, a car mechanic, passionate about westerns, goes on vacation in search of the Sergio Leone movies sets.
From the center of France to the south of Spain, he tries to live the adventure like a cowboy.
But on arrival the myth is confused between dream and reality .
Director's Bio
Jérémie Schellaert, born in 1978. After high studies of History (M2) in the province, I decided to get into film in 2003 and therefore came to Paris. Through the meetings and learning in the field, I managed to make a first short film in 2004 and a second in 2006, both having obtained some awards at festivals. As time went by, I met important people who reached out to me and allowed me to continue my work as a director by defending and financially supporting my projects. I was able to make a short film After the Rain, produced and financed by the Burgundy Region in 2009, which had a great career in festivals. This project allowed me to professionalize myself and show other producers my know-how. This is how I was able to make two 52-minute documentaries financed by a television production company. Multicast documentaries in 2013 and 2014. This collaboration has materialized in other television formats and creative projects.
At the same time, since 2011, I'm still behind the camera filming orchestras of classical music of small or large formation. These videos take the form of musical recordings, releases of albums, interviews of solo artists or event videos ... I have the chance to collaborate with the greatest orchestras in France who trust me and offer me the opportunity to express my art and my eye everyday.
I am constantly looking for new angles of view, an original point of view, a fresh look. Each project is unique and this one in particular. I wear it for a long time and wish to stage it brilliantly.
