Director Biography

Katrina studied Film Studies and Screenwriting at Brooklyn College. After receiving the Furman Fellows grant to study at the University of Cape Town (Cape Town, SA), she produced and directed her first short film, The Pink and The Green, which was selected for the NewFilmmakers screening series at Anthology Film Archives. She was the 2015 & 2016 winner of Brooklyn College’s Bertha and Phillip Goodman Short Story Award (3rd & 1st place, respectively) and was awarded the IFP-Marcie Bloom Fellowship in Film 2019-2020.
