FEATURE NARRATIVE

Léa is an 18-year old who lives with her parents in Pointe-Verte, a small village in northern New Brunswick, Canada. Saddened by her grandmother's unexpected death, she forages in her attic and discovers an old photo album and a Polaroid camera that used to belong to the 56-year-old. In an effort to pay her last respects, she decides to leave on foot with a backpack and the Polaroid to reproduce the photos in the album, originally taken all over the province by her grandmother who was around 18 years old at the time. On the frozen shores of the gulf of Saint Lawrence, she meets Maxime, a boy her age who is also backpacking, and they decide to travel together.
