Six musicians from across Europe. A Barcelona melting pot. Music from Roma, Klezmer & Balkan traditions...but with a Barcelona twist?

This music-driven, high energy film follows the incredible Barcelona Gipsy Klezmer Orchestra as they tour the Balkans, playing with locals and exploring their Balkan roots. Along the way, we get know the band members as well as local masters and a new generation of Balkan musicians.

English and Serbian and Spanish with English subtitles.

Australian-based filmmaker Chris Rabbitt and his wife Melinda will attend the Festival for the World Premiere screening of BALKAN ROOTS.
