The Abita Mystery House in Louisiana is just that, a mystery. The museum is home to eccentric exhibits, a lot of junk, and an irreverent creator.

Director's Statement:

You See 'Em was not originally intended to be a comedy, however by the nature of the museum and the attitude of its creator, it found its way there regardless. I went to the Abita Mystery House hoping to find someone feigning deep answers to existential questions, playing on southern superstition and mystery to reign wandering souls in. Instead I found blunt honesty concerning the nature of its contents-- junk, junk, and more junk. In an attempt to shroud the museum in a mystical reverence, I found an irreverence which ultimately set the tone for my film.
