Belief Disbelief is a short film that makes the viewer relive the turmoil of the 2016 United States Election Day through the eyes of a group of Massachusetts Democrats whose hopes for the presidential election unravel over the course of the day, ending with a surprise victory for Donald Trump.
Director's Biography:
Helgi Piccinin, a Cinema on the Bayou alum and past attendee, discovers the power of storytelling while traveling. He comes back home with photographs, writings and memories. Still unsatisfied to render life experience through these forms, he discovers the freedom of documentary films and finds his own voice to question and explore the world. Films, Web, crossmedia, he multiplies the knowledge of different tools while always pursuing the development of his documentary approach.
