Pour mieux t’aimer (To Better Love You) / Canada (Moncton) / International Premiere

To Better Love You is the story of a family whose mother disappeared 30 years ago, without leaving a trace. Her husband and two sons have reconstructed their life as they could, haunted by this ghost and tortured by questioning. When an unknown young Romanian arrives in their small village, she brings them what seems to be the missing pieces of their story, now everyone has to face their demons.

The film, which made its World Premiere at the Festival International du Cinema Francophone En Acadie in November, won the Leonard Forest Prize for Best Acadian Long Film.

The filmmakers will be in attendance for the film screening on the closing night of the Festival.
