Director's Bio
Graceann Dorse, a COTB alum, is an actor, writer, and producer based in Brooklyn, NY. Her pilots "Benefits with Friends" and "Unidentified" were named official selections in the 2017 and 2014 New York Television Festivals, respectively. Her short films have screened at festivals across the country, winning awards at Princeton Independent Film Festival, Iron Mule Comedy Film Festival, and the Scranton Fringe Festival. In addition to creating for film and TV, she is a writer/performer for the stage, having created storytelling pieces, a one-hour solo show "Farty of One", and several monologues, including one that was a semi-finalist in the 2017 Manhattan Monologue Slam Championship. As one-half of the improv duo Double D, she created and performs in two fully improvised plays, as well as improv sets around the city. When not writing or performing, she is brushing her freeze-dried cat Beeker's luscious, dead fur.
