SHORT NARRATIVE

When Meg moves in with her longtime boyfriend, she is suddenly terrorized by memories of a past trauma from years earlier. Desperate to move forward with the life she wants, she constructs an imagined space in her mind to confront her ghosts and battle their grasp on her reality.

Director's Bio

A graduate of Harvard University, Rebecca received her B.A. in Filmmaking with a minor in Music, and is currently studying for her MFA in Directing at the American Film Institute. Rebecca began her career in documentary work, most notably acting as Associate Producer on the feature length documentary THE GUYS NEXT DOOR, which premiered in 2016 at the Sarasota Film Festival and has been screened at numerous festivals since.

A few years ago, Rebecca transitioned to narrative filmmaking; she has since made nine short films, and is currently developing a web series through her company, RebMadPictures. Rebecca’s films have been recognized as official selections in both the Boston International Film Festival and the New England Online Film Festival. She cares deeply about giving voice to marginalized groups, and works frequently with material focusing on the intersection of trauma, relationships, and sexuality.
