After a difficult visit with her dying father, Agnes decides to escape to a pension in the forest. Immersed in a world that wavers between reality and dream, Agnes will have to confront her mourning.

Director Biography

Marianne Métivier stood out with her first short film "Raspberry" (2013) directed at the age of nineteen, selected in competition at the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma and in the Coup de Coeur program of the Short Film Corner in Cannes. In 2016, she graduated from the Directing program at the University of Quebec at Montreal, where she won the School of Media's best fiction award with her film "The Passage of the Migratory Bird" (2016). Inspired by her travels around the world, Marianne explores human relations and the pivotal moments of a life. "She Who Wears the Rain" (2019) is her most recent short film.
