SHORT NARRATIVE
Cameron wakes on the morning of his five-year sobriety cake day after relapsing the night before. With his celebration rapidly approaching, he emotionally deteriorates while contemplating the consequences of being honest.
Cast: Cameron Crosby, Steven Holmes, Joe Buffalo, Koshiki Tanaka, Spencer Foley, John Duncan, Bradley Stryker.
Director Biography
Phillip Thomas is a Canadian Academy Award nominated writer, director, and produce. His debut feature film When the Ocean Met the Sky premiered at the 2015 Montreal World Film Festival and was selected by the Toronto International Film Festival film circuit before entering an 18 month festival run accumulating 16 awards internationally. Phillip's The Fish & The Sea premiered at the 2018 Palm Springs Int'l ShortFest and went on to play in festivals all over the world. The film was nominated for a 2019 Canadian Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Drama.
