Lèvres bleues is interested in using synthetic image to reconstruct the memory of a loving moment.

Director Biography

Philippe Hamelin's works create connections between special effects and affect. Using video or spatial montage, he tries to create poetic relationships between humans and technological media while questioning the relationships we enter into with and through technology. His work has been presented in art galleries and in several festivals in Canada and abroad. He completed a Master in Fine Arts at Concordia University after studying cinema at Université de Montréal. He teaches media arts and cinema at Cégep de l'Outaouais (college) and lives in Montreal.
