Behind the wheel of his car, Émile ignores the phone calls from a woman who keeps leaving him worried messages. He’s running away. Far away. For her part, Anabel decides to take a break from the city and goes to her parents’ house, on the Island. But even with Antoine, who she meets during the ride home, she can’t hide the great sorrow she’s been feeling since her break up with the man with whom she had just moved in.

Émile laisse tout derrière et prend la fuite. Anabel fait une pause sur sa vie et fuit la ville. Lui pour tenter de retrouver quelque chose qu’il a perdu. Elle pour tenter d’oublier un peu ce qu’elle a perdu. Chaque fois, leur fuite les amène à des rencontres marquantes de leur vie. Et chaque fois, les choix de vie qu’ils auront à faire seront déterminants pour le destin d’autres êtres.
