This story revolves around two principle characters in the Cajun/Zydeco band “Horace Trahan and the Ossun Express.” Horace talks about his upbringing and his path to becoming an accomplished accordion player. His father-in-law, Rodney Bernard (scrub board player) also talks about his musical background growing up in rural 1950’s Louisiana and the many legendary musicians he has played with over the years. Both men are connected by their strong cultural roots, Louisiana French, and their love of music.
